October 23, 2009, at 3:33 pmI am on my way to Chicago today and at the Toronto City Centre Airport, I saw Toronto FC players. Considering myself as a fan and a firm believer that Toronto FC is Toronto’s only hope for a major league play off team, I approached some of them and wished them good luck.
I wonder how many times people notice them and box them into the one thing they are known for. It was cool to see them sitting around the lounge waiting for their flight as I was. Some were chatting with their teammates. Some were playing cards. Some were sitting alone with their iPods and reading their books. Just like us.
But nonetheless, I wish TFC good luck on tomorrow’s game that may take them to the playoffs.
